A unique look at XXI history. From our birth, to where we are now & everything inbetween. We have had great moments & some hard times too, and our friendship has become stronger as a resut of our experiences.
2010
BlackJack 21 Original Emblem
BlackJack 21 pioneers UKobra, Vixen & Red
BLACKJACK 21 IS FOUNDED
Vixen founds XXI in August 2010 on Metal Gear Online. The Clan gets a few members & we start playing together casually with moderate success. We are made up of low level players.
ANARCHY REIGNS
Some members leave, we struggle to organise things & there is a lack of togetherness. We play our first competitive match.
BLACKJACK 21 IS BORN
UKobra & Red join our ranks in October 2010. The effect they have is immediate & all of a sudden XXI have purpose & direction. Higher level players are now taking notice of BlackJack 21.
PROGRESION
The active members of BlackJack 21 share a vision on what they would like the clan to be. Vixen & UKobra begin to work towards making it happen. We introduce our RULES & start designing RANKS.
2011
THE ALLIANCE
BlackJack 21 & THE C0BRA UNIT form an official alliance. The alliance brings great advantages to both clans & some great friendships are developing across both clans. An alliance PSN chat is made as a haven for all alliance members to prosper.
CLAN WARS
BlackJack 21 have become a prominant clan in the MGO community. Due to our growing reputation, fueds begin with The Doors & Sons of TK. These clans are well known cheaters with a lack of respect for other gamers & MGO in general. Battles take place regularly.
EXPANSION
Our unit grows & we have 61 members with 40+ active on a daily basis. While this is great for our profile, our organisation & togetherness becomes a real issue. BlackJack 21 have become the most active clan in SNAKE lobby. We eventually manage to win our clan battles & both rival clans struggle to stave off extincion due to the severity of our war against them.

A MEETING OF MINDS
BlackJack 21 are introduced to THE C0BRA UNIT by UKobra. We start to progress a lot faster due to the experience & guidence of the C0BRAs. Clan leaders Ladie & Vixen form a strong bond & great friendship develops. XXI & TCU members start training & playing together regularly.
ESTABLISHING OURSELVES
XXI members start playing Automatching together regularly & also compete in various tournaments too. More new high level members join to improve & guide the development of the clan. BlackJack 21 also form our own PSN chat that becomes popular instantly.
2012
SHUFFLE THE DECK
As a resolution for our struggle to maintain organisation, we split BlackJack 21 in to two. An ELITE unit for the hardcore & highly devoted members & a CASUAL unit for the rest. We offer members the option to swap if needed. Clan RANKS are also finalised & established & XXI instantly runs smoother.
BETRAYAL & SORROW
Established XXI members The Searcher & KiteWolf leave the clan under acrimonious circumstances. KiteWolf was the Member of the Month at the time & was very well liked & respected. His last contribution before leaving was to post a mocking message on our notice board. XXI morale took a blow.
WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER
Searcher & Kitewolf join a rival clan, it becomes apparent that Searcher was unhappy & used his close friendship to convince Kite to leave too. These developments hurt us, but it also serves to bind the rest of us together & we become stronger for it. Ladie & Maxys establish our combat training which leads to great success.
HOUSE ALWAYS WINS
Our good results continue on MGO & we form our ruling council Dead Man's Hand, it is designed to keep XXI healthily run & fair to all members. We establish a new Alliance PSN chat, it is a haven for XXI & TCU members, as well as other allies & it helps keep our special relationship strong.
BAD NEWS, BAD TIMING
Just as we are cementing our place as the best MGO clan... We get the news that Metal Gear Online is coming to an end!!! It dampens our spirits but we remain loyal & strong for one another. BlackJack 21 stage our first GLADIATOR event & GoD Luzifer becomes champion defeating Amaterasu in the final.
METAL GEAR OFFLINE
Our lovely time on MGO comes to an end with the closure of the online servers. We enjoy it right up to the last minute & watch the sun set on our MGO adventure together. Thanks Kojima! MGO was awesome!
THE NEXT CHAPTER
We establish our Facebook group, our twitter feed & our website with the intent of staying true & loyal to one another. Lots of members start to play together on various games for fun but we hope to find a game we can ALL enjoy together. Our alliance chat remains active & as fun as always.
GHOST UNIT
We find our game! GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER Instanly becomes a clan favourite. UKobra sets about establishing our presence online & our members quickly FOLLOW SUIT. We aim to play as much as possible together over the coming months so we can be THE leading clan on this game.

2013
NEW HORIZONS
BlackJack 21 work hard to establish ourselves on more games. GoD Luz leads our efforts on BATTLEFIELD 3 & our team starts to grow quickly. We start playing the CALL OF DUTY games & GTA 4 casually with the possiblity of expanding into a serious clan on both games. We decide to wait for GTA 5 & start making early preperations.
FULL CIRCLE
Former members Searcher & KiteWolf re-establish themselves within the clan. They both start from the bottom, passing trials & having to work back the trust & reputations they once enjoyed. We begin to plan our Operations for GTA 5, Rinbow 6 Patriots, Battlefield 4 & more... The future is looking bright.
SPREAD TOO THIN
Our members play a wide selection of various games but since MGO we have failed to have the majority of our member base playing one game together. This leads to small groups of members that play the same games together forming tight bonds & losing interaction with members who play different games. We need a flagship game!
A FORK IN THE ROAD
As distance grows between pockets of members, tensions & rivalry's grow. UKobra falls out with several clan members & attempts to kick veteran members Amaterasu, Vulcan & SnakeAG. Vixen tries to help all members reach a compromise but unfortunatley UKobra won't back down from his stance of 'Me or Them'.
FROM XXI TWO PHANTOMS WERE BORN
The values & ideals of certain members have seemingly grown apart. UKobra leads a small group of XXI members who want to move on from the values that have made us the respected clan we are. It's reluctantly decided to expell this splinter group from the clan. Fortunately, the core active members of BlackJack 21 remain loyal to our values.
THE NEXT OF US
BlackJack 21 establish a major presence on The Last of Us. The core members of XXI get together & re-form our Dead Man's Hand council which will be tasked with running the day to day operations of XXI as well as plan our future development. 5 council members are voted to serve on the council, Vixen, Snake, xSeanoo, Vulcan & Amaterasu.

GRAND THEFT AUTO
GTA 5 is released and looks like it could be the flagship game we need to put ourselves back on the map in a big way. Over 90% of our members have this game & lots of former XXI members are asking to return in anticipation of GTA Online.
GTA ONLINE
GTAO opens on October 1st & we make great start! We quickly establish ourselves & start playing together. We begin to plan & prepare teamwork training & guidence to ensure we can get the best possible start. We will use this platform to recruit new members.

XXI REBORN
We do a major update to our website & re structure parts of the clan in anticipation of PS4 & MGS5. We play GTAO regularly & start our OPERATIONS program. This will help us remain active, prepared & productive!
